APEX CAREERS

APEX CAREERS, a Pune based organization is in the field of training. The Academy trains youth for competitive exams like NDA & NA Exam, CDS Exam conducted by the UPSC. The institute also caters to preparing young boys and girls for the AFCAT. The Institute’s forte has been SSB Interview Preparation Coaching. Apex Careers, Pune has a unique identity of being the best institute in the country in terms of success of its students. The Academy also prepares students for the entrance exam for admission to Services Preparatory Institute (SPI) Aurangabad. Apex Careers has also designed a two years coaching program for National Defence Academy aspirants. The youth after completion of their X Board Exams can undergo a Personality Development Capsule Course and then undergo coaching for XI Science, XII Science Board Exams (PCM Group), NDA & NA written Exam and SSB Interview preparation. The Academy also conducts crash courses for NDA & NA Exam, CDS Exam and AFCAT. The Academy also caters to Group Discussions and Personal Interview i.e. GD – PI classes.

The approach of the organization has been totally professional. The Academy has five to six officers on the panel who impart Services Selection Board i.e. SSB Interviews training and around 25 academic staff as visiting faculty to train for various competitive exams. The Institute has six full time staff to cater to various activities of the organization.

Raised on 03 January 2005 by Lt Col (Retd) Pradeep Brahmankar, Apex Careers formally got registered and commenced the training activities on 05 May 2005. The training activities are presently carried out at Mahatma Phule Museum Campus on Ghole Road, Shivajinagar in Pune.

Apex Careers has trained five batches of SPI Aurangabad for the SSB Interviews. The organization also had privilege of training one batch of Sainik School – Satara. The institute has also trained two batches of PCTC – Nashik for SSB Interviews. Since Inception, the institute has to its credit over 500 students. Today, throughout the country, if one has to crack SSB Interview, the first name that comes to the mind of a youth is ‘APEX CAREERS’.

About the Director
Lt Col (Retd) Pradeep Brahmankar

A Metallurgical Engineering Graduate from the Govt. College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) of the 1976-80 batch. With a three and half year stint in private sector, Lt Col (Retd) Pradeep Brahmankar joined the Indian Military Academy - Dehradun in Feb 1984 and got commissioned on 15 Dec 1984 as ‘Lieutenant’ in the Corps of EME. The officer is from the 58th Technical Graduate Course (TGC) which passed out with 65 NDA / 75 REGULAR Course at Indian Military Academy i.e. IMA - Dehradun. Being a technical graduate, the officer got two years ante-date seniority and has the seniority of Dec 1982.

An alumni of Fergusson College of the Pre-degree batch 1974-75, the officer on commissioning into the Indian Army, did a six months attachment with 4 DOGRA in Siachen Glacier in the year 1985 after which he proceeded to his parent Corps i.e. E.M.E. The officer served in a number of EME units including tenure in Sri Lanka as a part of Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF). The officer commanded an Intermediate Repair Workshop (IRW) in the Eastern Sector and an Infantry Brigade Workshop in Dehradun. The officer had an opportunity to be posted to Military College of EME (MCEME), Secunderabad and had the privilege of being the Administrative Officer of 512 Army Base Workshop based in Kirkee (Pune), from where he proceeded on premature retirement on 30 Nov 2004. The officer hung his uniform after putting in 21 years of meritorious service. While in service, the officer had an opportunity to avail study leave of two years, when he pursued MBA from Pune University’s Department of Commerce and Management Sciences (PUMBA) of the 1995-97 batch.
